John Trivers will be a guest lecturer at McGill University in Montreal Quebec on February 17, 2012. He will speak at Professor Abe Kestenberg’s course “Music as a Profession” held at the Tanna Schulich Recital Hall at the Schulich School of Music. John’s lecture will cover his 40-year career as a songwriter, touring and recording musician as well as his work as a composer for commercials, films and TV.

In addition to being a composer and music producer, Elizabeth Myers is dedicated to sharing the knowledge of a life spent creating music.  She teaches an extremely popular composition class at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA and gives Master Classes at several other universities, such as her alma mater, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC. She will also be giving a lecture class at New York University on March 21, 2011.

The Trivers Myers Music mentorship program called TM-2020 was established in 2009 for high school students of extraordinary talent who are interested in becoming professional musicians and who want to do something meaningful with their talent.
